Our Process

Creating a 3D animated film with a group of 10 takes skill, expertise, and a whole lot of heart. Take a glimpse into the process of making Overcast.

Concept art

Cirro is an optimistic puppy made of clouds. His goal is to make all the clouds happy, but overlooks his own feelings in order to stay positive all the time.

Nimbus

Nimbus is a grumpy cat made of clouds who just wants to be left alone. Although he comes across as rude,  his wisdom teaches Cirro how to be true to his feelings.

The Altos

The Altos are hamster clouds that are easily irritated and influenced by others. They travel in groups, change color based on emotions, and just wanted to be like everyone else.

 

The Capys

The Capybara's live on the ground below the Cloud Animals. After suffering from the drought, the Capybara's are nourished by Cirro's rain.
